Simplifying Feathers’ Online Learning Experience

Feathers is a platform that allows users to easily create digital applications.
This platform was created for programmers, by programmers. The functionality was great, just waiting for people to give it a try.
What was missing is the communication, the big-picture “what this product does for you” language that helps people understand how it will help them.
We worked together to find the right way to talk about the platform, help users navigate online resources, and simplify the learning process.

The new language: Feathers is a flexible tool to create applications, offering step-by-step support.
We support the viewer to: get started using the software, reference the documentation, and explore and support the online community.
DOCUMENTATION
We organized the content in a way that guides the user through a progression of skills and provides resources for all experience levels.
Graphic
This design is used to help demonstrate the main purpose of the software. It shows Feathers as an in-between layer that coordinates and simplifies the interactions between an application’s front-end and back-end.
