GRAPHIC DESIGN, WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT, SOCIAL MEDIA
For over 30 years, WJS has been a well-respected provider of a broad spectrum of social services and programs to children, youth, and adults facing a variety of challenges in their lives.
I am infinitely impressed by the WJS family. I watch in awe, as they help communities across the country.
We’ve worked on a wide variety of designs, which are ongoing and evolve with the brand.
Alongside managing the website and social media, I’ve designed landing pages, books, infographics, presentations and promotional materials.
This project came through Detail Communications & Consulting. They work magic to inform communications systems and strategies for WJS Canada.
PROMOTION
I supported a campaign aimed at increasing brand awareness and visibility, promoting an employment video, and driving job applications.
I re-designed the employment page on their website, showcasing values, culture and benefits of joining. I also managed social media, focused on sharing work opportunities, personal staff stories, glimpses of WJS culture, and excerpts from the employment video.
Campaign Results:

Books
The organization releases booklets annually to cover topics including their vision and priorities, service delivery model, staff stories, and helpful resources for the individuals they serve.
They want designs that are authentic to the brand to bring this content forward.
Data
Reports come in, complete with pages of numbers and research results.
WJS wanted designs that would present the data, in colour! These visuals help to organize and give meaning to the information. Looking at data should be easy to understand, and hopefully interesting and insightful.
